Lisl has a Masters Degree in Communication Pathology and published articles in local and international peer reviewed journal. She spent her early career in academic research in childhood development and community development in the African context.
She pursued a career path as an independent writer and communication advisor for national and international businesses and publications and is a trained neuro-learning facilitator. She currently specialises as a stakeholder engagement specialist in the mining industry, working primarily in South Africa and rural and urban areas in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
She is qualified as and Internationally Certified Public Participation Specialist with additional certification in Emotion and Outrage in Public Participation. Her passion is to assist diverse stakeholders to see eye to eye about development. Her methods include a variety of toolkits to contribute to capacity building of all stakeholders.
